Win $250 by Showcasing Your Best Smut Story

We've recently rolled out some of the most requested features from our community, and we couldn't be more grateful for your incredible ideas and support. To celebrate, we thought of doing something fun and special. So this Thanksgiving, we're launching the first-ever Smitten Erotic Story Writing Contest!

Contest Details

Prize: The grand winner will receive a $250 cash prize and a year-long Smitten Plus subscription, plus three additional winners will each receive a year-long Smitten Plus subscription.
Duration: The submission of entries will be open from November 8 to November 27. (deadline extended!)
Eligibility: The contest is open to all Smitten users (18+ only), regardless of whether they are Smitten Plus subscribers, so feel free to invite your friends to join! While Smitten Plus users have access to more customization options, non-subscribers can still manually edit their stories to create a good erotic story.
Entry Limit: Each participant may submit one entry per account, so choose your best smut story.
Theme: There is no specific theme, so you can write any erotic fiction story, even if it falls under genres like urban fantasy, BDSM, and others. Future contests might include theme-specific rounds.
Language: While Smitten Plus users have the ability to choose their preferred language, for this round we will only accept stories generated in English. Future writing contests may also include other languages.
Submission Method: Once you've chosen your best erotic story, make sure to hit "Publish" and then click "Share" to generate a unique shareable link. You can use the link to submit your entry via this form. This should help us with easier tracking while preserving your anonymity.
Story Showcase: The team will publish your story to the official Smitten subreddit, so our community can enjoy reading the latest entries. We’ll ultimately select the final winners, but don’t let that stop you from upvoting and interacting with the stories to make your faves known!

Criteria for Judging

😎 Rich Character Development – Characters should have clear personality, motivations, emotions, and growth throughout the story.
✨ Vivid Setting – The setting should feel immersive and detailed, with erotic elements that enhance but do not overpower the plot and setting. For romantic fantasy entries, make sure the worldbuilding remains vivid and well-thought-out.
😮‍💨 Strong Buildup – The story should progress naturally, building tension and anticipation that leads up to the erotic scenes.
❤️‍🔥 Engaging Plot – The overall narrative should be creative enough to capture the reader's attention from start to finish.
✅ Quality Control – AI can hallucinate and repeat lines or phrases sometimes, so you’re expected to refine your story for readability before submitting.
