We've been getting tons of great questions about Smitten on Reddit and through our feedback form, so why not put everything in one place? Whether you're new to this AI story generator or a longtime user, we hope this FAQ blog clears things up!

Can I edit my stories?

Yes, the edit feature gives you complete creative control over your story. Just click the "Edit" button right on your story. Tweak your prompts to change how a character responds, add a spicy detail you forgot, or completely rewrite that one scene that didn't quite hit your fantasy.

Can I share my stories with others?

We enabled a private link sharing option, so you can send your erotic AI stories to someone without making them public. Think of it as your personal story vault that you can privately share with trusted friends or partners.

How are story titles made?

Smitten automatically generates titles by analyzing your spicy story's themes, characters, and plot.

Not loving the title? Click "Regenerate Title," and a new one will appear instantly. Keep regenerating until you find one that fits your story! You may also edit the title manually, should you want it to be more personalized.

What's the difference between the Nymph and the Enchantress Model?

We have two AI models you can choose from, and each one has its own vibe:

1. Nymph is faster and lighter. It's great for fun, playful, flirty stories. Perfect if you want something short, sweet, and quick.

Example: A flirty bartender makes eye contact across the room, and things escalate fast in the back office. (Short, steamy, and straight to the point)

1. Enchantress takes her time. She creates deeper, more detailed stories with more emotion and build-up. If you're in the mood for something slower and richer, this is the one to pick.

Example: A lonely CEO hires a mysterious assistant. Over multiple encounters, tension builds until one late night in the office changes everything. (More character development, backstory, and emotional build-up)

If Enchantress is having issues or taking too long, you can switch to Enchantress Backup automatically. It still writes in the same style, but the intensity might not be the same.

Is there a free trial?

We don't offer a trial for Smitten Plus, but our free tier gives you up to 3 stories per day, allowing you to explore the platform and see if this AI story generator captures your fantasies perfectly.

Even on the free tier, your stories will be detailed and uncensored, but such stories will be shorter and have fewer customization options than the paid plan.

Can I control the story length on the paid plan?

Speaking of customization, Smitten Plus lets you pick from short, medium, or long.

• Short: Usually 500-1000 words (great for quick scenarios)
• Medium: 1000-2000 words (good for building tension)
• Long: 2000+ words (perfect for detailed, immersive experiences)

How do I continue a story?

If you want to continue your story, click "Continue to Another Chapter" under the Customization menu of your current story, and add your stories to a Collection.

You might have a Collection called "Office Romance" with multiple chapters about the same characters, so you can build multi-part stories where relationships develop over time. Some users have collections with 10+ chapters that follow the same characters in different scenarios.

Do characters remember what happened in previous chapters?

To help the AI story generator pick up where it left off, briefly mention what happened before in your prompt. A bit of context allows the story to continue smoothly.

For example: "After their hot coffee shop date, Sarah can't stop thinking about Jake…"

What's the "Action" section for?

This is where you guide the Smitten on how you want the characters to interact. Want them to flirt? Argue like exes stuck in an elevator? Go straight to the steamy scene? Just describe that under "Action" to make your AI erotic story more tailored to your kinks.

You don't need complete sentences, even vague prompts work. However, your story will be better and spicier if you are more specific! Some action prompts examples:

• slow burn makeout (perfect for building tension)
• jealous ex confronts new lover (drama!)
• rough quickie in the office (workplace spice)
• Character A punishes Character B (power dynamics)
• enemies to lovers first kiss (classic trope)
• teasing in a public place (risky fun)

What languages are supported?

We're working on expanding language support, but right now, Smitten supports the following languages:

• English (our primary language, most refined)
• Spanish
• French
• German
• Italian
• Dutch (beta)

How do I cancel my subscription?

We hope you'll stay, but we've made it super simple if you need to go as part of our commitment to being transparent and user-friendly.
